Technical SEO, SEO recovery, keyword visibility, content optimisation and organic search growth
August 2025–June 2026
219 Peak Monthly Organic Clicks | 79,806 Organic Impressions | Approx. 15-Day Website Recovery
For a cleaning services company in Singapore, organic visibility can play an important role in connecting with people actively searching for cleaning solutions. Searches can range from general cleaning services to specific commercial, residential and specialised cleaning requirements.
Anergy had been working with SEOCompany.me since August 2025 to strengthen its organic search presence through technical SEO, keyword research, on-page optimisation, content, internal linking and authority-building activities.
The campaign began showing stronger organic performance in early 2026. Monthly organic clicks increased from 124 in December 2025 to 188 in January 2026 and reached 219 in February.
Then, in March 2026, the website was hacked.
The incident changed the immediate SEO priority from growth to recovery. The technical team worked to retrieve and restore the website, while SEOCompany.me worked on the technical and SEO aspects required to bring the website’s search visibility back.
The website was recovered in approximately 15 days. Following the recovery, organic clicks returned to 196 in April and increased further to 206 in May, while impressions reached 79,806 in May.
This case study explains how the campaign progressed from organic growth to technical recovery and then back towards sustained SEO performance.
In the initial phases, architects and designers play a crucial role in conceptualizing and designing projects.
Choosing the best SEO Agency means research, research and more research. Checking through reviews, team credentials, and getting proposals and audits.

Anergy is a Singapore-based cleaning services company serving customers with different cleaning requirements.
For a business operating in the cleaning services industry, search visibility is particularly valuable because potential customers often turn to Google when looking for a suitable service provider. The searches can be highly specific depending on the type of cleaning required, the property or business involved and the location.
This creates an opportunity for SEO to connect Anergy with users who are already searching for relevant services.
SEOCompany.me began working with Anergy in August 2025 with the objective of improving the website’s overall organic search presence.
The campaign covered multiple areas of SEO, including technical optimisation, keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimisation, internal linking and authority-building activities.
Rather than focusing only on individual keyword rankings, the strategy was designed to strengthen the website’s overall ability to attract relevant organic search traffic.
Cleaning services is a competitive search market. Businesses need to compete for broad service-related searches as well as more specific searches associated with different cleaning requirements.
For Anergy, the challenge was therefore not simply to generate more website traffic.
The larger objective was to improve visibility for relevant searches, strengthen the website’s topical relevance and ensure that important service pages could perform better in organic search.
At the beginning of the campaign, there was considerable room for improvement.
The SEO team worked across the website to identify search opportunities, optimise existing pages, improve technical SEO, develop relevant content and strengthen the website’s overall search foundation.
The results began becoming more visible towards the end of 2025 and into early 2026.
Organic clicks increased from 124 in December 2025 to 188 in January 2026 and then to 219 in February 2026.
Impressions also increased from 30,622 in December to 49,745 in January and 58,078 in February.
The website was gaining momentum.
However, the campaign soon faced an unexpected technical challenge that could potentially have reversed that progress.
The progression in organic search performance provides important context for the recovery that followed.
The data shows that the campaign was gaining traction before the security incident.
From December to February, organic clicks increased from 124 to 219.
| Month | Organic Clicks | Organic Impressions |
|---|---|---|
| August 2025 | 136 | 39,429 |
| September 2025 | 133 | 23,802 |
| October 2025 | 100 | 13,159 |
| November 2025 | 123 | 17,241 |
| December 2025 | 124 | 30,622 |
| January 2026 | 188 | 49,745 |
| February 2026 | 219 | 58,078 |
That represents an increase of approximately 77% in just two months.
Organic impressions also increased by approximately 90%, from 30,622 in December to 58,078 in February.
These improvements indicated that the website was gaining greater exposure in Google Search.
The objective at this point was to build on that momentum through continued technical SEO, content optimisation, keyword targeting and authority-building work.
Then the website was hacked.
In March 2026, Anergy’s website was hacked.
A website security incident can have serious SEO implications. Changes made during a compromise can affect website accessibility, crawlability, indexing and the content that search engines encounter.
For an SEO campaign that had already started generating stronger organic visibility, this created a significant risk.
The immediate priority could no longer be simply publishing content or improving rankings.
The website had to be recovered first.
The technical team worked to retrieve and restore the website, while SEOCompany.me worked on the SEO aspects of the recovery.
The response involved extensive technical work alongside ongoing SEO efforts to help the website regain its previous search visibility.
The website was recovered in approximately 15 days.
This was an important milestone, but recovery did not mean that the SEO work was finished.
The next objective was to help search engines recognise and reassess the restored website while continuing to strengthen its organic search signals.
The response to the incident required a combination of technical recovery and ongoing SEO optimisation.
Rather than treating the website hack and SEO campaign as two completely separate activities, the strategy focused on restoring the technical foundation first and then rebuilding organic visibility on that foundation.
The first priority was supporting the technical recovery of the website.
The technical team worked to retrieve the website and resolve the problems created by the hack. SEO efforts were carried out alongside this process to identify issues that could affect search visibility.
The website was reviewed from an SEO perspective to ensure that important pages, URLs and technical elements were functioning correctly after recovery.
This included reviewing the website's technical health, crawlability, indexing-related factors, redirects, canonical signals, sitemap-related elements and website errors.
The objective was to provide Google with a clean and accessible version of the website that could be crawled and processed normally.
This stage was particularly important because simply making the website accessible again does not automatically restore its previous rankings.
Following the recovery, the team continued reviewing the website to ensure that search engines could properly access its legitimate pages.
Technical SEO activities focused on identifying potential crawl and indexing issues and ensuring that important pages were available for search engines to discover and process.
The team also reviewed URLs and other technical elements that could potentially affect how the recovered website was interpreted.
This helped create a cleaner technical foundation for the next stage of the SEO campaign.
The objective was not to force rankings back immediately, but to ensure that the website was in a condition where search engines could reassess its pages naturally.
Once the website was stabilised, the campaign continued with on-page optimisation.
Existing pages were reviewed to improve their relevance, structure and alignment with search intent.
This included working on page content, headings, keyword targeting, internal links and other on-page signals.
The focus was on making the purpose of each important page clearer.
For a cleaning services website, this means ensuring that users can easily understand what services are offered, who they are intended for and why the company may be relevant to their specific requirements.
This approach also helps search engines establish stronger connections between individual pages and the searches they are designed to serve.
Keyword research remained an important part of the campaign before and after the recovery.
The team identified relevant search opportunities and used them to guide content optimisation and ongoing SEO activities.
Existing content was reviewed and improved where appropriate, while new content opportunities were identified based on relevant cleaning services and customer search behaviour.
The objective was to increase the website's topical relevance without relying on repetitive keyword usage.
Instead, the content strategy focused on addressing different search intents and providing useful information to prospective customers.
This allowed the website to build visibility across a broader range of relevant searches rather than depending on a limited number of terms.
Internal linking was also part of the broader SEO strategy.
Relevant pages were connected to create clearer relationships between different services and areas of the website.
A strong internal linking structure can help users navigate from one relevant service or information page to another while providing search engines with additional context about the relationship between pages.
The team therefore continued to review internal linking opportunities as part of the wider optimisation process.
This work supported the overall objective of strengthening the website's topical relevance and making important pages easier to discover.
The SEO campaign did not stop once the website was recovered.
This was an important part of the strategy.
Following a website hack, organic performance needs to be monitored carefully because rankings may not immediately return to their previous positions.
The team continued working across technical SEO, content, keyword optimisation, on-page improvements and authority-building activities while monitoring the website's organic performance.
The objective was to move the website from technical recovery to SEO recovery and then back towards organic growth.
The post-recovery data demonstrates that the website was able to regain organic search traction following the March incident.
| Month | Organic Clicks | Organic Impressions |
|---|---|---|
| August 2025 | 136 | 39,429 |
| September 2025 | 133 | 23,802 |
| October 2025 | 100 | 13,159 |
| November 2025 | 123 | 17,241 |
| December 2025 | 124 | 30,622 |
| January 2026 | 188 | 49,745 |
| February 2026 | 219 | 58,078 |
| March 2026 | 170 | 260,810 |
| April 2026 | 196 | 57,218 |
| May 2026 | 206 | 79,806 |
| June 2026 | 189 | 71,337 |
The March data needs to be interpreted carefully because this was the month in which the website was hacked.
Organic clicks fell from 219 in February to 170 in March.
Following the recovery, clicks increased to 196 in April and then 206 in May.
By June, the website continued to generate 189 organic clicks.
This demonstrates that the recovery was not simply a short-lived improvement immediately after the website was restored.
Impressions also recovered strongly.
After the March incident, impressions reached 57,218 in April and increased to 79,806 in May, exceeding the 58,078 impressions recorded in February before the hack.
The March figure of 260,810 impressions has not been treated as a normal SEO performance milestone because the website was compromised during that period. It therefore does not provide a reliable like-for-like comparison with the surrounding months.
The more meaningful result is the restoration and subsequent strengthening of organic visibility after the website recovery.
The Anergy campaign demonstrates why SEO performance cannot always be evaluated as a simple month-on-month growth chart.
Before the hack, the website was showing clear momentum.
Organic clicks increased from 124 in December to 188 in January and 219 in February.
The March security incident disrupted that trajectory.
The important outcome was how quickly the website recovered and how organic performance responded after the technical work was completed.
Within approximately 15 days, the website had been recovered.
Organic clicks then returned to 196 in April and reached 206 in May.
This means the website recovered to approximately 94% of its pre-hack February click level by April and approximately 94% again in May, while May impressions exceeded the pre-hack February level.
The recovery therefore provided a strong indication that the technical remediation and continued SEO work were helping restore the website's organic search foundation.
A website recovery following a security incident requires more than technical fixes.
The website also needs to continue demonstrating that it is a legitimate and useful source of information for its audience.
This is where technical SEO and content quality work together.
The recovery strategy focused on restoring the website’s technical health while continuing to improve the relevance and usefulness of its content.
For a cleaning services company, this means ensuring that service information is clear, relevant and aligned with the needs of prospective customers.
The SEO work therefore considered both how search engines access the website and what users find when they arrive.
This people-first approach is particularly important after a technical incident. Recovering visibility should not mean simply trying to regain previous rankings. The long-term objective is to ensure that the restored website provides a strong experience for users and a reliable foundation for continued search visibility.
The recovery from the March incident was an important milestone, but it was not the end of the campaign.
A similar approach can be seen in our Sen Wall Coverings SEO case study, where technical SEO and ongoing optimisation helped strengthen organic visibility after a website transition.
With the website technically recovered and organic visibility returning, the next stage is to continue building on the improvements already made.
This includes identifying pages with growing impressions but lower click-through rates, monitoring keywords that are close to Page 1, strengthening content around relevant service topics and continuing technical SEO improvements.
Search performance data can also reveal new opportunities that were not visible at the beginning of the campaign.
The objective is to use the recovery as a foundation for further organic growth rather than treating the restoration of previous rankings as the final goal.
Anergy’s SEO campaign demonstrates that successful SEO is not only about increasing rankings and traffic.
Sometimes, the most important SEO challenge is protecting and recovering the visibility that a website has already built.
Before the March 2026 website hack, Anergy had achieved strong organic momentum, with monthly clicks increasing from 124 in December 2025 to 219 in February 2026.
The website was then compromised, requiring the technical and SEO teams to change priorities quickly.
The technical team recovered the website in approximately 15 days, while SEOCompany.me worked on technical remediation, indexing, on-page optimisation, content, keyword targeting, internal linking and other SEO activities to help restore search visibility.
The results following the recovery were encouraging.
Organic clicks increased from 170 in March to 196 in April and 206 in May, while impressions reached 79,806 in May.
The key lesson is that a strong SEO strategy needs to be adaptable. Technical recovery, search optimisation and ongoing monitoring all have a role to play when a website faces an unexpected disruption.
For Anergy, the objective was not simply to get the website back online. It was to restore the foundation required for continued organic search growth.
Anergy’s SEO journey demonstrates the importance of having both a growth strategy and a recovery strategy.
From August 2025, SEOCompany.me worked on strengthening Anergy’s organic search presence through technical SEO, keyword research, content optimisation, on-page SEO, internal linking and authority-building activities.
By February 2026, organic clicks had reached 219, supported by 58,078 impressions.
The March website hack created an unexpected interruption.
The technical team worked to retrieve the website, while SEOCompany.me addressed the SEO implications and continued optimisation efforts. The website was recovered in approximately 15 days.
Following the recovery, organic clicks returned to 196 in April and increased to 206 in May. May impressions reached 79,806, exceeding the pre-hack February level.
The case demonstrates that SEO success is not always measured by uninterrupted growth. In some situations, the ability to recover, stabilise and rebuild organic visibility is the most meaningful measure of SEO performance.
